Today is:

Welcome to our website.  We're delighted that you have chosen to explore Good Shepherd.  We know that there are a lot of choices on a Sunday morning and we hope that after visiting us here, you will be encouraged to explore Good Shepherd in person.  Every Sunday, people from all over Friendswood and surrounding communities come to Good Shepherd for the first time. Whether you are a life-long churchgoer, or just trying to discover who Christ is and what He could mean to your life, we hope you'll discover that you've come to a good place.

Good Shepherd seeks to be a sanctuary for equipping and empowering people to deal with the issues of life in an atmosphere of love, security and support.  We find sanctuary in Jesus Christ.  We are called to model sanctuary for others in the community and in the world.

One Great Worship Service (Next 5th Sunday June 29th)
Every 5th Sunday (those months with 5 Sundays), we have ONE GREAT WORSHIP SERVICE at 10:00 a.m., followed by a parish-wide meal. On typical Sundays, Good Shepherd has three separate and distinct worship services.  The 5th Sunday is our opportunity to come together as one worshiping family.

Children's Church
All children ages 3-8 are invited to attend their own service called Children's Church. At the beginning of the 9:30 worship service, children follow the children's ministers to the Laura building for their service and return to the main worship space at the time of the Passing of the Peace for Communion with their families.

6:00 p.m. - Prayers for Healing in the Church prior to the service
