The Best Investment You’ll Ever Make
Is your “little lamb” registered for pre-school at Good Shepherd Episcopal School? If not, they are missing out on a Christ centered, academically enriched, and just “plain fun” learning experience!
The Three Year Old class is the perfect introduction to the educational and social experiences necessary to prepare a child to be successful as they continue through their education and life. While letters, numbers, and story time are the academic focus of this class, much time is spent at play in centers, learning to work either as a group or individually, monitored by the teacher.
Pre-K/3’s
Pre-K/4 is taught in a “hands on classroom”, where the children learn by center play, “discovering” in small groups, circle time, and story time. Dramatic play, a writing center and reinforcing math and science skills with cooking and simple experiments, are big hits with the students in this class.
Pre-K/4’s
If you are a working parent, before and afterschool care is provided for those children registered for pre-school. There is also the option of hourly before and after school care when the need arises.
All classes attend Children’s Chapel together every morning. The children always look forward to their Bible stories! Highlights of our year include our Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas Pageant, Go Texan Day!, Splash Day, and our end of the year play Program.
